But, I just took my handful of daily treatment pills and a zofran for nausea. In 10 more minutes that stomach feeling will be gone and I will go to sleep, forgetting how my head feels.
Tomorrow will not be ideal, but manageable.
Saturday is a busy day with spring sports coming back into season and musical competitions.
Sunday is gong to be a sleep day. :). And, then I will be back on my game and preparing for another round of chemo.
Today marks the beginning of round six. That's 21 weeks since I began this chemo cocktail. ( There are only 52 weeks a year. We are close to 6 months) And, next week, I will get a report on my tumor markers. I hope today's blood draw brings great news.
If you pray, I hope you will pray that my body is continuing to respond to the chemo, that my blood markers are dropping because there are fewer and fewer cancer cells, and that I will soon enjoy many consecutive years of "No Evidence of Disease" (NED). Please pray that my body will get more and more healthy so I will have the strength to do the things I love and miss.
Thank you, I know God hears our prayers. If it is part of His plan, these prayes will be answered with a huge YES. Fingers crossed!
